A leading aviation hub for Middle Eastern travelers, Doha International Airport is located in Qatar. The number of travelers is constantly growing, initiating the building of a new Doha International Airport, which will able to handle as many as 50 million passengers.
Challenge
The airport was looking to improve operations at its parking facilities. Vehicle access control was very important; therefore required an upgrade in parking equipment such as ticket dispensers and barriers, along with pay stations.
Solution
Working with our partners Scheidt&Bachmann GmbH, a world leader in parking equipment, Forevision implemented our ANPR solution at 7 entry/exit gates. In addition to the security benefits, the ANPR solution helped address the lost ticket problem which often times causes conflicts between attendants and customers.
