Riyadh and Jeddah Airports, KSA
  Project Background
KKIA and KAIA required a fast network connection to link over 100 different Point of Sales (POS) terminals in the airports. The network should be covering all over the airport including air sites and parking lots, allowing for future expansion and inclusion of new services such as hotspots, and electronic display boards.

 Solution

ForeVision’s networking team ran more than 10 kilometers of fiber optic cable linking 100 POS terminals from catering, Retail and Parking Divisions are communicating with a datacenter.

The Nortel communication system provides 100 IP phone extensions and 32 digital extensions. For Customer entertainment, 15 international TV channels are transmitting through our existing Fiber Network, made possible by Optic transmitter and receivers.

Monitoring and recording all the restaurants, retail shops, parking lots, main kitchens and offices is done through remote digital recording system.
