Challenge
The threat of an attack is always on the minds of a US army camp. Car bombs are all to common nowadays, therefore securing vehicle access points, then inspecting and logging vehicles became a priority for the army.
Solution
ForeVision and BDL Systems, UK teamed up to provide the Army with an ANPR and under vehicle surveillance system (UVSS). Vehicle plate numbers are not cross checked against white and black lists, with pictures being saved. The UVSS checks the underneath of vehicles for bombs or any other prohibited substances or objects.
