Managing documents can be a burden on any organization. Most often documents are stored on site in order to retrieve information, requiring much office space. In addition to storage needs, the information is at risk of being destroyed, misplaced, or stolen. Filing and retrieval become almost impossible to manage.
DocVision was developed to help governments and businesses manage an influx of documents by archiving electronic copies which eliminates the need for on-site storage. These documents are scanned and converted into electronic form; then stored accordingly for future use. Access rights can be granted through the software or combined with a biometric solution for increased security.
